Here at the Hawkstone Park Academy, we can offer tuition on any part of your game.
Whether you want to break 100, 90, or 80, our experienced and renowned PGA Professionals can guide you to game improvement. And golfing satisfaction.
It is our aim to give you an informative experience, which will help your game in the long term, working in partnership with you to help bring on your game. Remember, we get just as much pleasure from your success as you!
Our Head Professional, Stuart Leech is locally renowned as one of the top coaches in the Midlands, earning a reputation as Shropshire’s Premier Short Game Coach, and having also worked with several European Tour players, and county teams over the years.
Our Teaching Professional, Damon Airey has been coaching in Shropshire for some considerable time now, being involved with the Shropshire Ladies team, and also well known for his high standards of tuition, having brought on many of the current county side through junior coaching.
Another of our teaching staff is Michael Welch, previously a member of the European Tour, who has played in many top events, including the Open Championship. Having also previously been an England International, and both World and British Boys Champion, he has a wealth of experience to help any area of your game.
Our team of assistant professionals are also on hand to help lower your scores and provide knowledgeable advice.
Beginners have the ideal environment to introduce themselves to the game of golf. We can offer friendly advice, with our professionals having brought on large numbers of starters to the game, and our custom made practice facilities, including a driving range and six hole par 3 Academy Course, open to all, mean it really is the perfect place to set out on the golfing road.
Gift vouchers can also be purchased for any of our Professional team and make an ideal present for any standard of player or beginner.
Group classes run throughout the Summer and cater for specific groups such as beginners, ladies, juniors and junior girls.

Residential Golf Schools
Hawkstone Park’s two-day Residential Golf School proves a tremendous boon for beginners and intermediate players. The programme is an intensive but very enjoyable learning experience that will give you a thorough understanding of the game and dramatically improve your technique. Our team of PGA-qualified professionals, including the Shropshire team coach, use Hawkstone’s extensive practice facilities to cover the full spectrum of golf coaching.
